Graphics Guidelines

To submit or use photos, graphics, video clips, audio files and live music for our talk shows:

1. You may submit up to 15 graphics – unless otherwise approved – in one (1) transmittal, if possible. Each slide/page counts as 1 graphic.

2. Images should be medium (not high) resolution in size, in jpg or png format, or as PowerPoint slides, but NOT pdf. Avoid graphics with small images or lots of text (they can’t be easily seen by viewers). We suggest following the 5×5 rule – no more than a title and 5 bullet points per slide, with at most 5 words for the title and each bullet point.

3. Video clips should be in mp4 or mov format, each preferably less than one (1) GB in size. Audio clips should be in mp3, mp4 or wav format. Both should be no longer than three (3) minutes in length.

4. Identify photos and graphics with (a) a number for the order you want them shown, and (b) descriptive words that you will use to call for them during the show.

5. Copyright issues are serious.  Only submit photos, graphics, video clips, audio files or live music if you created them yourself, if they are clearly in the public domain, or if you have the rights and authority to give ThinkTech permission to use and perform them on your show. We therefore ask that you submit the following permission Form for all such material, excepting only host and guest book covers, album covers, DVD covers, movie posters, headshots, websites and logos.
