The demise of such a critical forum is such a shame. It is surprising that the major sponsors of ThinkTech, who have supported all these years have cut back on their support… I would have given more to ThinkTech, had I known the circumstances, assuming that your major donors had the necessary funds well covered… Such sad news. This is a sad day, indeed! Thank you so much for the experience of hosting shows for almost 5 years. I enjoyed working with you and the staff and learned so much! I must say that I knew this day would ultimately come and so had decided to continue as long as possible. I want to thank you for giving me a platform for my hobby. It was a good run, while it lasted. I know how hard you and Hailey and Mike worked to keep this going and I truly appreciate each of you. I am not going to record any shows in April. My last one was an interview on a book called ” A B+ Life” and I want to end my collaboration with Think Tech Hawaii with that show. You always made me feel free to…fully voice my political opinions through many of the Trump years and aftermath. I am more grateful than I can say. OMG what a phenomenal run it’s been. And you, the brilliant mastermind of ThinkTech, which defies description but one could make the case that it’s a combination of Broadway shows, comedy hours, sermons, infomercials, and … what is it called when folks who have survived something come together to share their trauma? Aha! Support Group! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the good you’ve done to bring people together, bring ideas out, give folks a platform and recognition for the good work and good ideas that are all around us and don’t get recognized nearly enough. It’s a lot of work to pull people out of their everyday nose-to-the-grindstone routine and give them a place to be heard. The closest thing that I can think of is the weekly lunches of EAH or the formerly monthly lunches of WiRE, or the biweekly Toastmaster meetings. None of which, unfortunately, have I been going to lately either. ThinkTech was the perfect platform for its time. And you know that phrase about resting on your laurels? Well, if you actually had been presented with laurels every time you deserved them, you’d have a huge fluffy bed of them to rest on by now! I wish I could donate more to the archiving. Looking forward to your next adventure! Maria

Wow! What a hard surprise. I had already lined up a number of shows for the summer. But I also realize it must be an even more difficult change for you. You have given so many people over the years a forum to discuss important issues that affect everyone. This is indeed some sad news, but I am still and always shall be deeply grateful for the opportunity. Working with ThinkTech has been transformative and has given me a new perspective on and appreciation for all the issues and views often presented on the many different series of shows. I will most certainly miss creating our biweekly episodes, but I do believe we have made a lasting impact… It has been the most sincere and profound pleasure to work with you, Hayley and Michael as well! I would be remiss if I did not mention how much I also appreciate everything that Hayley and Michael have done to ensure the success of the show. It’s been hard for me to think about writing you since you announced the cessation of regular programing. Not because I/we aren’t deeply grateful for having had these shows, but because I couldn’t concentrate on preparing for these last shows as the “last” ones. They felt like beginnings, as the shows always do – the beginning of going deeper and farther on every topic and with every guest. And with you maintaining the legacy library, I expect this to be the case. But here we are, with all shows “in the can.” And I can turn full attention on thanking you for giving us the opportunity to bring creativity and peace programming to our audiences through the highest-level programming and integrity that ThinkTech Hawaii has always given. It has been an honor to be in your family of shows, and an honor to introduce our audiences to you and your programming across channels… So, not in closing, but in continuation, I/we give you our deepest thanks and appreciation.
