Our next Downtown Forum
Beyond Political Sovereignty: Pathways for Hawaiian Advancement
How Native Hawaiians can achieve their cultural, social, and economic goals”
ThinkTech in conjunction with Grassroot Institute will present the next Downtown Forum at the 6th Floor Auditorium in 1132 Bishop Street at 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 17. Our sponsor is Hawaii Business Magazine.
Our esteemed panel members for this program are: Keli’i Akina, Maile Meyer, Billy Richardson and Oz Stender.
The program will discuss the issues facing the Native Hawaiian community and will explore alternatives by which that community can achieve its cultural, social, and economic goals other than through a restoration of political sovereignty.
Our frame of reference is that, quite apart from the question of political sovereignty, there are several pathways by which Native Hawaiians are advancing, such as education, entrepreneurship, political involvement, and so forth. We will present a panel of speakers who can address those pathways, moderated by ThinkTech’s Jay Fidell.
We believe this discussion will be of value to all the constituencies involved and to the public in general. Join us and raise your awareness about the critical changes taking place in Hawaii. Be a part of the conversation, and sign up below.
If you have questions about the program or registration, contact jay@fidell.com or call (808) 780-9254.
We look forward to seeing you there.
