Trump’s Loose Lips Back on the Road Again (What Now America)
Trump Admits Tax Fraud at Florida Rally. The host for this episode is Tim Apicella. The guests for this episode are Jay Fidell, Winston Welch, Stephanie Dalton and Cynthia Lee Sinclair.
Now that the New York City Prosecutors Office have charged Trump Inc. and it’s CFO Allen Weisselberg with 15 counts of tax evasion for $ 1.7M, Trump took it upon himself at the July 3 Sarasota, FL rally to acknowledge the charges of not paying taxes on off- book fringe benefits, taxes on apartment rent, cars, grand children’s school tuition was no big deal. In a classic Trump use of “What Aboutism” he brought up statements, with no specifics or facts, that people who murder and sell drugs and are not charged by NYC prosecutors. The bottom line is if you are Trump’s CFO facing 15 counts of criminal tax evasion charges, having your boss admit to the media that the charges are true but so what, everyone does it is most likely not appreciated, and perhaps provides new motivation for Weisselberg to bargain for a plea deal- to testify about Trump’s direct involvement in tax evasion and/or different criminal activities. Life long accountants know things, Al Capone found that out.
