Trump Plays White Fear Card, K. Rittenhouse (What Now America)
What’s Behind GOP Culture War-Not Democrats. The host for this show is Tim Apicella. The guests are Jay Fidell and Winston Welch.
Some in the GOP thinks Kyle Rittenhouse is a mythic hero. Trump thinks so. Tucker Carlson thinks he is. GOP Rep Josh Hawley wants to offer him an internship. Time to connect the dots. The Rittenhouse trial focused on a 17 year old boy who traveled to Kenosha, WI from Antioch, IL with an AR-15 to “protect his community” from Black Lives Matter (BLM)protesters. Killing two and wounding one was not about an act of a vigilante, but rather a hero standing up to BLM crowd. It’s GOP leaders that see him as a national symbol for standing up to a Democratic city government and police dept. that sat by and allowed destruction of property from BLM. Trump said he “helped save Kenosha” and the jury decision to acquit was a ‘great decision’. Where else have we seen Trump and conservatives defend deplorables (supremacists) acting in the name of protecting white heritage? Charlottesville SC in 2017. Trump claimed there were “good people on both sides.” More to come.
