Trump Denied Ties to Project 2025, Wants its Authors Back on Staff (American Issues Take One)
Trump Denied Ties to Project 2025, Wants its Authors Back on Staff; Stephan Miller, Russ Vought Brought Back for Encore Performance (American Issues Take One). The hosts for this show were Tim Apicella and Jay Fidell. The guests were Benjamin Davis and Chuck Crumpton.
The discussion was: Trump denied knowledge or association with Project 2025, a document that unravels federal agencies, implements brutal deportation plans, and sets a road map of retaliation against identified individuals associated with Trump resistance in the first term and since Jan. 6. Trump has nominated Stephen Miller and Russ Vought, two key authors of Project 2025, back into his second term administration. As usual, voters were gullible to believe Trump, and it’s only by coincidence that these two find themselves as nominees. The panel examines the recommended policy pathway of Project 2025 and how it will unfold before Americans after January 20.
The takeaway was: Most knew Trump was lying as he attempted to distance himself from the draconian policy positions of Project 2025. Now we see the obvious, voters were dupped. It’s more of the same from Trump’s old playbook to deny and then embrace certain loyalists with one sole mission: to swing the MAGA wrecking ball at our long-standing government institutions.
