The State of our Union (Law Across The Sea)
Lt. Gov. Doug Chin discusses current events. The last time Doug Chin was my Guest on Law Across the Sea, was over a year ago, and he was Hawaii’s Attorney General. At that time, we discussed President Trump’s Travel Ban on predominantly Muslim countries and the ensuing litigation against it, which he was leading. A lot has happened since then. Among other things, Doug Chin ran for Congress, he became Lt. Governor of the State of Hawaii after Shan Tsutsui resigned, several notorious events highlighted the divisions in America, and Mid-Term Elections were a battleground over the President’s performance. We will discuss recent political and social events in Hawaii and the Mainland United States and Lt. Governor Chin’s outlook for the future of our State and our Nation. The host for this episode is Lawrence Foster. The guest for this episode is Douglas Chin.
