Sensational ‘Local Guy’ Philanthropist Eric Fujimoto; How Financial Wizard Eric Fujimoto Donates his Time and Money to UH Sports, Claremont-McKenna College, and Even to Punahou’s Clarence T C Ching PUEO Program (Journeys of the Mind). The host for this show was Carl Ackerman. The guest was Eric Fujimoto.

The discussion was: Eric Fujimoto’s skill in developing Ho’ea – a wealth advisory group is a testimony to his business acumen, but what he has done in his low key approach to the community both here and California, has been a series of ventures that has promoted education, sometimes for the underserved, and definitely for the University of Hawai’i’s athletic program. Our discussion will revolve around how he became so successful, and why he donates to these institutions. Perhaps Mr. Fujimoto is a good representative for us all in Hawai’i, by inculcating the Aloha Spirit in his/our collective philanthropic giving.

The takeaway was: All in Hawaii will see the motivation behind a key philanthropist in Hawai’i, a man who not only helps to finance key institutions, but also, brings these institutions into an array of public forums
