PTA command priorities, leading initiatives and programs at PTA, and community-based engagement process. Pohakuloa Training Area mission is to train American service members-Hawaii Army National Guard, Reserves, Hawaii County Fire and Police Departments-in a variety of skill sets so they are prepared to execute their mission and come home safe. PTA is a base of 230 local employees strong, that is connected and engaged with the local community and provides the best training opportunities to those units who come here.
