Making Room for Women Lawyers (HSBA: Living Lawyer Legends)
Living Legend Lawyers
Susan Ichinose interviews Carol Mon Lee, bar number 1932. Carol was the first president of Hawaii Women Lawyers in 1980 during a period of tremendous growth of women in law schools and entering the bar. Private clubs discriminated against women as regular members. Carol became the second woman member of the Pacific Club. Carol’s career has included law practice, teaching, corporate work and law school administration. She now helps run ThinkTech Hawaii. The host for this episode is Susan Ichinose.
