The Supreme Court has issued so many outrageous and visibly corrupt decisions that are without precedent, legitimate rationale or caring or concern for the country or the Constitution, and based only on MAGA ideology. Most recently, we have the Trump immunity case, which is terrifying. Constitutional Scholar Avi Soifer helps us understand what is going on, where the guardrails are, if there are any guardrails left, and what if anything can be done about it by Joe Biden or anyone else.
The takeaway was: It’s really discontcerting to see what the Supreme Court is doing to the country, but it’s critical that we follow what they are doing in hopes it will end soon or that the court can somehow be reformed soon.
