Pre and Post-Surf Tips: Surfer Tested! The host for this episode is Christine Lynders.

Surfing is fun! Christine knows–she surfs. It’s a sport that we can enjoy as we age–if we make sure not to become sidelined with injury. Many of her surfer patients, whether semi-pro or recreational like herself, have come in complaining of neck pain, shoulder, hip and back pain, knee or ankle pain. Some were post surgical shoulder and neck patients. To prevent these injuries from keeping you from the activity you love, Christine put together a show so that you can learn to warmup properly in minutes and “UNDO” the sport after surfing to enjoy being painfree in and out of the water.

In this episode, Christine demonstrates for those with low back or hip pain on the front leg side what to do to get rid of pain and stay painfree in and out of the water. If you are a serious surfer, you will learn how to do a counteractive exercise to UNDO the tight tuck position inside the barrel. These tips and strategies will not only improve your surfing but keep you feeling good. Aloha and enjoy!
