High School March for our Lives Movement (Perspectives On Global Justice)
Today’s episode of Perspectives on Global Justice Thinktech Hawaii, we get to hear from three high school students who came in solidarity and in action at first by leading and organizing march outs in their respective high schools on March 14; and then, by organizing and leading an independent High School March for our Lives Honolulu at A La Moana Boulevard. Today, our viewers will hear the voices of these high school leaders and learn more about their vision and mission for the movement that they started on their own in Honolulu. We will also learn about what enough is enough movement means to each one of them individually and collectively, and their plans moving forward to give continuity to this movement in our aina. By the end of our program, we hope that other high school, middle school and elementary school students will feel inspired to join this high school lead and organized movement and how our community can support them and their leadership structure. The host for this episode was Beatriz Cantelmo. The guests for this episode were Hayden Hawkins, Imiloa Borland and Gabriel Fernandes.
