WorkNet is an innovative non-profit that prepares offenders for a successful reentry back into community living to reduce recidivism. They help clients obtain their identity documents, find jobs, secure housing, and obtain their driver’s license and provide other needed case management services.
They work with offenders in the prison environment prior to their release and continue to assist them when they reenter the community. This model has proven effective to prevent recidivism.
When COVID hit, they had to pivot quickly to continue delivering services for clients inside prison and in the community. We will find out about their pivot journey and how they found an effective model to continue serving clients.
