Government Mind Control 101; What Trump Wants us to See, Say, and Learn (American Issues Take One). The hosts for this show were Tim Apicella and Jay Fidell. The guests were Benjamin Davis and Chuck Crumpton.

The discussion was: It started with book bans in public schools in Florida. There is further erosion between church and state as past SCOTUS decisions allow the bible to be taught in public schools as secular studies. Havard University is now under a full-scale attack by the Trump administration for not submitting to demands to correct an education curriculum more suited to the MAGA universe. Further, foreign student’s education visas have been frozen, for now. What we’ve witnessed is a full attack on what courses are being offered, the attempt to eliminate The Department of Education, and withholding of federal grants to universities that resist MAGA culture and oversight. The panel will examine the multiple arenas where Trump’s desire to control what Americans see and what they learn is in full swing.

The takeaway was: Government Control to influence the educational institutions of America is one of the hallmark traits of an autocratic takeover of a democracy.
