RB Kelly and Cynthia Sinclair take a look at the 2018 Ellison Onizuka Day of Exploration in Honolulu. The annual makahiki of the Aloha Council of the Boy Scouts of America has been a tradition since 1911, and is the longest running scout show in the country. Recently it has been known as the Ellison Onizuka Day of Exploration, named after the Hawaii born astronaut lost in the Challenger accident. Think Tech took to the floor to see what was going on there. They spoke to a number of scouts, parents and children at the event. They caught up with Neal Atebara, of the Aloha Council, to get a overview and history of the event. Ellie Fujii, Jeff Sulzbach and Colton Ching also spoke about the event and their participation.
Also includes thoughts from around town about China and North Korea.
Episode 368. Original Air Date May 6, 2018.
