Number 2:  From the series “Taking Your Health Back” on 2/12/2019 hosted by Wendy Loh, it’s called “Providing access to patients who need medical attention at a convenient location; Early intervention and access to health care can reduce complications of many different illness” with guest Alan Wu.

We both have decided to sacrifice our personal time and stay open until midnight daily to provide Urgent Care services currently not available but needed in Waikiki during late night hours. Hopefully our Urgent Care services can also decrease the burden of non-emergency visits to the ER coming from patients coming from Waikiki    The host for this episode is Wendy Loh.  The guest for this episode is Alan Wu. Number 3:  From the series “Out And About” on 2/11/2019 hosted by Winston Welch, it’s called “StopAlaWaiProject.Com – a look at the Proposed Ala Wai Watershed Canal Project; a community-based effort to re-look at the methods, considerations and conclusions of the EIS,” with guests Kari Watase and Dave Watase.

Description: The Ala Wai Canal Project is a $345 million flood mitigation project of the United States Army Corp of Engineers (Army Corp) that includes several upstream detention basins, an average 4-feet solid reinforced concrete wall around the Ala Wai Canal, Ala Wai Golf course and Ala Wai Park.This project is designed to protect and prevent $1.14 billion in property damage from the 100-year storm or flood. In 2018 Congress passed funding for the project and the Army Corp is currently working diligently to build the project. The importance of this project is to provide flood protection for Waikiki which is the economic engine for our State. The host for this episode is Winston Welch.  The guests for this episode are Kari Watase and Dave Watase. Today we will explore this topic from stakeholders who have been left out of the process, feel that the process has been flawed from the start, that proper laws to engage the public were not followed, and point to alternatives that the group is proposing.
