Llew Gibbons, an old China hand, who first came to China in late 90’s as a Fullbright Scholar. He is a well-known scholar and lecturer on doing business in China, and also holds a faculty position at University of Toledo College of Law.

Llew Gibbons has organized many conferences on doing business in China, chaired the Confucius Institute at the University of Toledo, and has been instrumental at working on public-private partnerships at developing greater awareness of business opportunities in China in the northwest Ohio region. Toledo, although a small city of 280,000 has attracted Chinese investments especially the glass industry and automotive supply chain.
