David M. Louie, former State of Hawaii Attorney General from 2011 to 2014, is in private law practice handling matters of complex litigation with experience involving high profile matters and jury trials in state and federal courts. His professional career includes President of the Hawaii State Bar Association and numerous other local and national organizations. He was recognized by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association with the Daniel K. Inouye Trailblazer Award and has been recognized as a Hawaii Super Lawyer. He previously served as the Chair of the State of Hawaii Aloha Tower Development Corporation and is currently the secretary of Easter Seals of Hawaii. When not practicing law, he enjoys woodturning making objects from Hawaiian hardwoods.
